XINSoftware in Chinese
Was so excited about the scanner, it did everything perfectly, then when it came to transferring the data to my computer the software was in Chinese. Says you can change the language, but you gotta figure out where to do that as its all in Chinese and several pages keep popping up, all in Chinese. Tried Google translater and still cannot find the option. I have lost days as my project is stuck, and do not want to manually copy barcode numbers as it easy to error. If the seller cannot provide an immediate solution, am going to have to return this item and claim my money back. Its unfortunate sellers buy Chinese products and put them on the market without consideration its an English market. Very frustrating esp since time costs money in the supplychain. The customer should not have to go through the inconvenience of figuring out a product. There is no instruction or mention of the fact itschinese software anywhere on the listing or manual too. Am very disappointed.

It is quick practical item, however, it seems very cheap. Scanning button stopped functioning after couple of month using. You have to press hard and upwards to get it scanned.It is not good value for money.

Bought this for my brother as he’s just started a business. The scanner works incredibly well overall and is very simple to use. I would really recommend it for anyone who’s using an Ipad. Has been dropped once and survived so far.

I now have two Tera barcode scanners, one with and one without a display. I prefer the one with the display as it makes it possible to check that the item has scanned in correctly. However I am very pleased with the performance of both of them.
The manufacturers, Tera Digital have been very reliable and helpful so I wouldn't hesitate to buy their products again, especially since they come with a three year warranty (activated by emailing the company).
My only point of warning is that each scanner needs a separate dongle (included with the scanner) if you want to connect it to the computer. This just means you need to have sufficient spare USB ports on your PC or laptop.
No point it having a screen
Decided to go this product since it had a screen. I though it may have some useful features but it's useless. You can not set the time and it only shows the barcode number you have scanned. It is 100% useless when scanning barcodes off a sheet. It will scan the first barcode it can read even if the red light is only covering the barcode you intend to scan, even in the supplied manual. The cable connection is at the front when it should be at the rear. It is made in China, not Germany.It also has dropped in price by £15 the following day. I will be returning it. Have ordered the Eyoyo one what seems to be packed with features.
