I had a Cubot X19 phone purchased in spring 2020, an OK phone, but after about 10 months of use the microphone started, by degrees, to malfunction. It got increasingly worse to the point that it was unusable. So I looked for a new phone in the 100-150 price range. I shortlisted a few, but after reading reviews and watching video reviews I bought the Oukitel C21.It's a very good phone for the money. It is notably faster than my old phone, with a newer CPU and GPU.The charger is OK and mine came with a black rubber "rugged" case rather than the clear silicone gel case. I actually prefer it.

The screen is much more vibrant, the microphone is very good, the mono speaker is better than most (all?) phones inthis range. The touch control on the screen is way faster, smoother and more sensitive than my old phone. It just seems everything is better. Wifi calling switches dynamically between wifi and cellular much faster than my old phone. The camera is better by a degree. It has less artifacts and speckling than the previous phone. It is a bit fiddly to get the Quad camera focus right. The depth of field looks strange. I'm not used to it yet though.I feel that Oukitel source their components better than some in this price range.

Negatives:

Only 4GB of RAM. Standard on phones in this range, but it could do with 6GB because you want to use so many apps due to the excellent performance of the phone.

No 3.5mm headphone socket. I have bluetooth earphones and a wireless stereo bluetooth speaker box, but the speakers also have a 3.5 to 3.5 socket so that you do not have to use wireless. I know you can get USB-C to 3.5mm speaker/headphone adaptors, but I am not sure of the compatibility with the C21.

No notification LED, not even to show a need to charge with a red light and green for fully charged, let alone notification flashing.

Minor, but I don't like the punch hole camera. It is a bit out of place and intrusive.

Overall: Go for this phone if you are going for a phone in this price range. It is one of the best, if not the best for the money. It feels in many ways closer to a £300 phone due to the performance, smooth control, screen quality etc.

Terrible battery life. Arrived fully charged, lasted about 7 hours. I only downloaded Wassap, had one conversation on there for less than fifteen minutes via messaging. Nothing else downloaded, charged up overnight, battery went down 13 percent in 2 hours then dropped and after 10 hours with no phone or app use, it is down to less than 10 percent. Useless, wouldn't last one day out off the house. Why did it arrive fully charged, it seems like it was a false full charge and only at 60 to 75 percent in total. Returning for refund which is really inconvenient as obviously I need a phone. Oukitel same system and look as ulefone.

The phone never completely charged to 100% even after day one, now 4 weeks later the most charge I can get is 78% .
Every day the charging capacity reduces.
Problem is I am a pensioner with very little ability when it comes to devices such as a mobile phone, so when my last phone completely stopped working after 3 years of daily use I needed a phone that was sort of easy to use, this phone did tick the boxes when it came to easy to use and big screen size but it took me a week trying to set up my banks shopping accounts contacts etc so I am reluctant to have to go through that again hence I am now stuck with a device that is dying daily, hopefully I can make it last until it's safe for vulnerable people to go out and I can get help with another new phone and help setting it up.

The screen is large, clear and easy to read. It has all the features of a mobile phone I nead and at less than half the price of the leading brands. It doesn't have NFC so it can't be used to make payments via Apple Pay etc. but for me that isn't an issue, I'd prefer not to have this feature for security reasons. Google Sky/Sky Map doesn't work fully as phone is missing either accelerometer or compass or both apparently. A bit of a disappointment but not a big issue for me. The large screen and ease of use are the main features I was looking for, and these it provides.

Love this phone , brilliant, fantastic reviews,so I whent with it and ,sound is loud lots of memory ,was crap on other phone so I had this one camara was crap on my old phone this is brilliant,and looks expensive,I don't pay hundreds for phones ,there's no need ,and this phone proves it ,it's big ,the sound is good and got lots of memory and looks ace , odvissly iv only had it 3 days ,but iv persuaded my friend to buy one to ,he's had the black one and iv had the teal one love love it hopefully it will stand the test of time now .only problem I have is getting a phone wallet to fit as I have looked ,and I need a square battery hole .and I'm not sure which one is correct,even though iv looked on Amazon ,it does come with a case which is brilliant,but I want to protect,my phone more love it ,easy to use ,took me 5 hours to set up but that's because I had hundreds of photos from my old phone ,that I wanted to send to this new ,buity that's the only reason,and because I didn't know what I was doing really,but I did it all on my own ,I'm sure it would only take some ,an hour.love the size the camara,the sound the memory,and looks fantastic,like it's so expensive thanks,let's hope it lasts me years haha

Into buying this one. ???? as it is a no brainier. You will not be sending it back, as soon you will be 100 % happy ????

I can't connect to my TV. When doing zoom. Also can't connect to Bluetooth headsets. No hole for headphone aswell.

Bought this to replace a new Samsung 10s that continually lost WiFi.
Opened up the box,comes with screen protector and a tough case,( I always buy these for my phone's),pleasant surprise.Forget the "free" SD card,couldn't get onto the site at all.
The phone itself is brilliant,fast,clear picture and the sound is very good,dual SIM,no fuss everything was easy to install and use from day one,venture to say it is the best phone I have owned so far,in the recent past I have had my Samsung and an iPhone ,not in the same league!!
Only downside, for me ,no headphone jack socket Bluetooth only,but I can live with that the Samsung is now an mp4 player.
This phone is well worth the money ,cheaper by far than the inferior big name phone's.

The disclaimer on the back of the phone was a big red flag the phone was excellent but not for long as soon I turned it off it would not turn back on again so after 2 days when I was boxing it back up to send it back it came on buy it’s self and has been fine since for the money it is a good phone ???

Seems like a great phone but wont accept giff gaff. Not sure what network to try
