I ordered this product due to a recommendation for moisturiser that is good for acne prone skin. However, it arrived with the box broken and no seal on the product at all. I had further suspicions when I opened it and it was overflowing with no plastic lid inside which is standard for these kinds of products. It was also the wrong colour. I then came on to look at other reviews saying the same thing. I believe this product is not what it claims and is instead an unknown substance that has been placed into Neutrogena tubs. Sent back for full refund and buying from a proper provider

I get quite dry skin on my cheeks, forehead and face in winter but as I have sensitive, pimple pron skin I always avoid moisturising or I tend to get spotty. This gel is wonderful, it smells and feels lovely and soaks straight in to your dry skin leaving it feeling supple and not remotely greasy. It's so light and works so well you barely need much. I often use it on my hands to help soothe them and I find I have far fewer pimples when I use this on my face, chin and mouth. It feels like it is working.
I last paid nearly £20 for a pot, so grabbed a spare one when I saw it in the deals for half price.

I have very oily skin and was surprised when I researched the best moisturiser for oily skin and this came up, as it's for dry skin. I was wondering if it was a mistake, but I've been using it daily now for quite some time and my oily skin has gone!! Honestly, prior to using it my face was like a frying pan, and it was completely unmanageable. I couldn't keep make-up on, I had continual outbreaks of spots and I spent the whole day dabbing the shine down with powder. I'm going through the menopause and have never had oily skin or acne, so didn't really know how to deal with this. I tried so many different lotions and potions but nothing worked. This has been a miracle. I also like the fact that it is a gel because it has an easier application and you don't need very much. It glides on nicely and doesn't lay heavily on your skin. I highly recommend this product for oily skin despite the fact that it is for very dry skin. I don't know the science behind it but it works.

This is a tempting offer but it seems I wasted my money! The box is not sealed and it looks like a copy cat/imitation of the original neutrogena! In addition , the gel completely touches the lid directly! There was no cover to separate the gel from the lid which makes it unhygienic for a newly opened product! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I JUST WASTED MONEY ON THIS IMITATION. ????????????

I bought this moisturiser because I was looking for a pregnancy safe one for every day. It arrived super quickly but there was no seal in the product box nor in the pot. I was put off because it didn’t look quite right to receive a cream that could have been opened by someone else before. I called Johnson’s and Johnson to know if this is the standard packaging and checked the production series. I was told that this is correct, that was a genuine batch of the product and indeed it came with no seal, from factory. I raised a complaint to them addressing that this was
Not very hygienic especially coming from such a big name such as Neutrogena. He took my comment onboard.
I have decided to use then the product and so far I like it, it is very lightweight, good for summer and to wear under make up, absorves very quickly, leaving the skin soft. It has a nice perfume but a bit too intense for me, as I was used to non perfume moisturisers. Good product in general, with poor packaging. Not Amazons seller fault.

I usually use Garnier Hydro Boost Aloe Vera Gel but because of the pandemic, it has become very popular and has either been out of stock or the price has skyrocketed.

I got this thinking it would be similar and to a degree, it is. It is like a non-greasy gel that smells absolutely wonderful (like between watermelon bubblegum??) but I would not reccomend it as it can flare up the skin. I appreciated Garnier's gel moisturiser bc no matter whether I had just exfoliated or washed my face, it didn't sting. This however, can sting if you apply it too soon after cleansing. Not being funny, but I don't want to stand around waiting for the point in time I can moisturise when it won't hurt.

Plus, there is WAY too much packaging. They did the whole double bluff of let's-make-the-box-bigger-then-make-the-tub-out-of-thick-plastic-to-make-you-think-there-is-more-product-than-there-actually-is, as if THAT isn't old.

I’ve used this moisturiser for a long time now and I’ve always loved it. However this is the first time I’ve purchased it through Amazon and it just isn’t the same. The packaging is different and the scent is stronger than my previous moisturisers. I’ve been using it, as I thought they might of just changed the packaging etc but my skin seems to be breaking out in very big lumpy spots. To me personally, I don’t think this is the normal Neutrogena moisturiser. I won’t be purchasing this again through Amazon.

I had read good views and purchased on a whim.Arrived the next day, on time, however, a box of the cream/gel open and looked battered.OK, I thought, but when I took the top off there was no cover to peel off the jar as usual on all cream, products.In this climate not taking the risk.Shame because it looks really good.Too much of a faff to return.One star reflects, even, if new no covering to the cream itself.

UPDATE !!!!!!!!I felt bad leaving a comment that I thought it had been used.Since reading through reviews I see that so many people have written the same.Why hasn't it been looked in to by Amazon?

Packaging is different to normal and to the photos. The product has also causes me to break out for the first time. I don’t think it is genuine. I’ve contacted Neutrogena to find out.

If you have oily skin or combo skin please give this a go! I've tried soo many other moisturisers and spent hundreds of pounds and nothing compares to this - it sinks in immediately and leaves a very natural look on the skin, over time it gives you a 'natural glow' but don't be put off - it's not greasy (only the sides of my nose get a little bit greasy but that's probably bc I don't rub it in properly). I usually slather this on and went through a 50ml tub in a month! It's also amazinggg to use on your neck and decoltage.give it a go you won't regret it.
When it comes to scent I love it but i think if you've sensitive skin you're probably better off with the fragrance free one.
Apart from that honestly give it a go its worth thr hype - I personally didn't like the other one (the fragrance free one) as its also a gel/cream mix so its a bit heaver and it gets oily.
( FYI :The one that you get with spf 25 is okay.. Its gets very very greasy especially on the forehead so that's not a cute look, unless you like the sweaty look)
