Workd fine. Happy with purchase.

Meant to make my life easier while riding but instead just annoyed and frustrated me. Every time I asked for music on the only reply I got was “music off”. Then I kept asking and it would randomly call my speed dials. Ask for radio on, “radio on” then silence. I made sure the unit was properly updated and tried different settings but every time nothing worked as it should.

Now for other problems, sound quality of phone calls was absolutely awful, anything above 40mph and you’ll struggle to hear what the person is saying. Thats while wearing a decent helmet with low wind noise levels.

Music sound quality (when you get it to work) was pretty good but not loud enough for motorway speed.

Finally sat nav audio…. The worst possible. Basically It would have been better just to have the satnav speaking through it’s own internal speaker than use it through the intercom.

Unit works well. sound quality is good . I’ve tried phone calls ,radio and sat nav all work well . Obviously less effective at speed
because of wind noise but still ok.
Only 4 small operating buttons but you can easily locate them with gloves on.
Have not tried intercom yet but only links to one other rider and that’s not what I bought it for. Used it for 5 hour trip and still plenty of battery life. Charges quick too.

My son loves it. He and his mate go off and chat whilst riding. He would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately this was a big waste of £300+ for me. Bought the duo for intercom use with pillion but the connection was very intermittent and extremely frustrating. Customer Support replaced the mics and both units which looked promising only to again be a pain. Support was good but product seems hit and miss from reading other reviews.
My pillion could hear me,but I could not hear her, on startup pressing the button to start intercom, I heard the voice say ‘not available’. Paired again, voice said successfully paired but then ‘not available’ when trying the intercom.
Whilst riding over 30mph I could only hear a sound like static, intermittently but could not hear pillion. She could only hear me but my voice was breaking up. When we got off the bike communication briefly returned. This was with boom mic in flip front helmets. May try the other mics if possible to see if better.
The ‘hey Cardo’ feature does not work for me successfully.
Battery life is untested as we didn’t try if for long.
The app is probably okay but I just want to turn the device on rather than mess with an app! We did use the app to see if that helped with our issues, but no.
I will probably contact customer support again but tbh, I would like a refund and will be very shy about buying another system of any make as this has put me right off. Ironically I used to have a very cheap system which worked but thought I would spend more on quality!
It has worked well a couple of times and sound quality was very good. Not sure about using with phone as I just wanted the intercom functionality.
Apologies for the unstructured review, in summary, I personally wish I had not purchased this but not sure what other one I should have. I am lamenting potentially losing my money as I missed the date to return it initially due to not testing it until weather allowed.
This is my personal review, I could be at fault of course, so please bear that in mind.
Update: after some more fiddling, it worked great on outward ride only to be intermittent for intercom on return ride. Will persevere a little longer.

Only had this a few days so these are first impressions. Main issue is that the buttons are too small to be accurately with a gloved hand. The manufacturer could have easily made these more pronounced. Secondly, the FM radio reception goes crackly very quickly after finding a station, resulting in frequent scans to locate a stronger signal. Auto retuning would have been a big improvement. I have found it easier to stream radio via the phone app, which is perfectly clear. I don't use the intercom so no comments regarding that. For the price, it's fine but could easily be much better with improved design.

Simple installation - five minutes.Battery lasts ages - still at 100% after 3 hours.Sounds fantastic and clear, even at high speeds…
Only downside is voice control needs to be American. Just put on your best Hollywood impression and your sorted though.

Unable to update firmware. Unable switch it on to do factory reset.Not happy..

I use it everyday and it provides me with a nice drive. Would recommend using ear plugs alongside for better sound quality.
