Let down by strap.
Did not look like picture on Amazon but on the whole very pleased with it. Just let down by the poor quality of the strap but resolved that by going out and buying nice leather strap.

Good smartwatch
This is a good watch for small money. The mobile app is good and step counter, sleep monitor etc all seem very accurate. Battery life for me is about 9 to 11 days which is excellent considering the price of the watch. Just about as good as a higher priced (cost almost 4 times the price of this blackview) and well known brand smartwatch I had last year before I broke it. The only thing that watch had extra was the ability to answer calls and send texts and that's not vital for me and you can still read all your texts, WhatsApp and emails with the blackview so that's all I need really. Excellent watch in my opinion.
ALRemarkable - excellent value.
I looked at a number of watches costing around £50. Read many reviews and questions and answers. The Blackview X1 seemed to have more consistent reviews than others. On arrival it was fully charged and paired with my phone via the H band app straight away. Using the questions and answer section I was able to set up and receive my texts and emails quickly. Pressing the button briefly while the screen is on brings up a menu for your sport functions and all others. At the bottom of the menu there is a settings function which allows you to change the watch dial - no need to use the H band app. You must use the app to load your own photo and set the text colour. The phone battery will go down a little bit quicker as apps are running in the background - for me it means six days instead of seven. The watch is great value.
Big Steve GAll Show & No Go!
This is my first Blackview product and will probably be my last. The (upto) 45 day battery life was closer to 4.5 days.The step accuracy was abysmal. It added about ten steps on when I sneezed. The most annoying thing was it constantly syncing with my phone. Every time it did it the watch vibrated and showed a message on the screen telling me it was syncing.Sometimes that was around every 10 seconds for about 20 minutes.
Other than that the watch actually looks and feels expensive. Just a shame the software doesn't match. Very much style over substance.

Great watch, its easy to connect to a Samsung phone when you download the H band app, battery life is very good, im getting over 5 days but i just recharge it when its down to 2 bars just in case

Looks great. The installation of the software and pairing was intuitive and the watch function as a time piece is really good, but the fundamental reason I bought it was to monitor my heart rate when training and it does not register any heart rate over 110 beats a minute. I have tested it against the monitors on the gym equipment and swapped devices with other gym users and therefore proved that it is woefully inaccurate. I train between 120 and 140 BPM (which other smart watches I have had recordedaccurately), but this watch seems to be stuck at around 108 most of the time, and has never registered over 118. I also use a cross trainer a lot but there is no feature for this equipment. Finally, it is also annoying as you cannot manually force the monitor screen to stay on when training to see heart rate, so it blacks out after just a few seconds, presumably to save the battery, but this is an oversight on the manufacturer's part. It should have a manual option to adjust when training

This is an update to my original 1 star review. Blackview Customer Service contacted me after I had complained to Amazon. I will admit that their customer service was very good. I got compensated and a replacement. I am grateful for the friendly, but professional service. For this, I give 4 star.
Much improvement is required on this model in order to be competitive.
The sleep monitor is rubbish, which is one of the main reasons for buying the watch. Imagine that after a full 8 hours sleep, the watch will record 45mins sleep, with time like 04:50 to 05:35.
Their customer service will give you an endless run around. Having writing severally emails, they will not admit that the watch is faulty, instead they try to educate you on how to wear a wrist watch.
I have given them the benefit of doubt. Sent the watch recordings and the options to recall, replace or refund my money, still to no avail.
This will be my first ever negative review of a product, but it is to save others customers from the disappointment and frustrations that I am going through right now.
